25th Infantry Division Training Advisory – Convoys Begin October 28

Convoys:
Motorist are advised that there will be movement of military vehicles leaving Wheeler Army Airfield headed north along Kamehameha Highway toward North Shore, October 28, 2016 as a part of the Lighting Forge exercise.

Movement times are schedule between 12:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. along the route to minimize any interference. However, there may also be periodic movement’s through-out the day as military convoys prepare for exercise operations.

There will be a second convoy at 7 p.m., headed towards Kahuku Training Area. Please be advised soldiers will be in the area walking along the route. Expect traffic delays by exception.

Aviation Activities:
Additionally, there will be an increase in aviation flights from Wheeler Army Airfield to Dillingham Airfield, and the Kahuku Training Area from Oct. 27-31 between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.

To report concerns related to the aviation noise, please call the U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii (USAG-HI) Noise Concern Line at (808) 656-3487. A Public Affairs Office representative will contact you about your concern during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
